Privacy policy

This policy explains how personal data is processed when you visit the Zi de Zi website. We follow Moldova's Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection. If versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.

2. What data we process and why

The website presents the Zi de Zi range. It has no forms, accounts or subscriptions. It uses no visit analytics, advertising or social media widgets. Your browser sends the technical data below automatically, and the server processes it when you visit the website.

Access records do not store request headers, including User-Agent and Referer.

You have no legal or contractual obligation to provide these data: your browser sends them automatically, and the server needs them to display the pages. Without them the website cannot be displayed. If you write to us or call, providing your details is voluntary.

If you write to relatiiclienti@linella.md (the contact in section 1) or call the customer service line +373 3000 1515, the information you provide reaches our customer service. Those messages and calls do not pass through the website. How the customer service processes data is described in the Linella privacy policy.

We do not carry out profiling or make decisions based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects. The technical data processed for this website is not sold and is not used or shared for advertising.

3. How long we keep data

• Access records: up to 31 days, then automatic deletion. For a security incident, the relevant records may be kept longer, for as long as needed to investigate that incident.
• IP address and request-limiting counters: only in memory during the limiting window, from seconds to minutes.

4. Who receives data

Transfers to countries in the European Economic Area do not require special authorisation (Article 44 of Law No. 195/2024).

Montserrat and Fira Sans Extra Condensed fonts and images are hosted on our server. The only external content is the YouTube video described below.

The home page includes videos from YouTube: the chef's clip and one clip for each dish. A video loads only after you press Play or the Video button of a dish: until then your browser makes no requests to YouTube or Google. After that, your browser loads the player from www.youtube-nocookie.com. YouTube (Google) therefore receives your IP address and technical request data, and may store or read data in your browser under its own policies. We do not control that processing and do not receive that data. To avoid it, do not play the videos.

5. External links

The website includes links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok. These websites open only when you follow a link. From that point, data processing and cookie use are governed by that website's policies.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You can exercise the following rights under the conditions provided by law:

• find out whether we process your data and receive a copy;
• ask for incorrect or incomplete data to be corrected;
• ask for data to be deleted;
• ask for processing to be restricted;
• data portability: receive the data you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and transmit it to another controller, where the processing is based on consent or a contract and carried out by automated means (the processing described here is based on legitimate interest, so this right does not apply to it);
• object to processing based on our legitimate interest;
• lodge a complaint with the National Centre for Personal Data Protection.

For questions or requests, write to the email address in section 1. We respond without undue delay and within one month of receiving your request. If the request is complex, this period may be extended by a further two months. We notify you within the first month and explain the reasons for the extension. To find your records in the access log, we need your IP address and the period of your visit.

7. Cookies and browser storage

The website uses no cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. The website does not save the language choice separately: the language is determined by the page address (/ for Romanian, /en/ for English and /ru/ for Russian). See the Cookie policy for details.

This applies to the website itself. After you play a video, the YouTube player may use cookies or browser storage under YouTube's policies (see section 4).

8. Data security

• The website uses HTTPS to protect data in transit.
• The number of requests from the same address is limited to prevent abuse.
• The website is configured so that your browser loads resources from other servers only from the YouTube player, after you play a video (section 4).

9. Changes

We update this policy if the website's operation or data processing changes. We publish the updated version on this page with the date of the last update.
