Cookie policy

This page explains the use of cookies and similar technologies on the Zi de Zi website. The legal framework is Moldova's Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection and Law No. 72/2025 on electronic communications. If versions differ, the Romanian version prevails.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website can save in your browser, for example to remember a choice. Other technologies can store data in the browser without using cookies.

2. What this website uses

The Zi de Zi website uses no cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage or IndexedDB. It uses no visit analytics, advertising or social media widgets.

The website does not save the language choice separately: the language is determined by the page address (/ for Romanian, /en/ for English and /ru/ for Russian).

Like any website, its files (pages, images, fonts) may be kept temporarily in your browser's cache for faster loading. The browser manages the cache; it does not mean that the website stores data about you.

3. Server technical data

Access records and request-limiting counters are processed on the server. They are not cookies and do not use browser storage. Data, purposes and legal grounds are described in section 2 of the Privacy policy; retention periods are in section 3.

4. External resources and links

Links to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok open other websites only when you follow them. Those websites may use cookies under their own policies. Their cookies are not set merely by visiting the Zi de Zi website.

The home page includes YouTube videos. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you play a video (Play or the Video button of a dish). After that, the player (www.youtube-nocookie.com) may use cookies or browser storage under YouTube's policies. The Zi de Zi website does not set them and cannot control them, and YouTube receives your IP address and technical request data. See section 4 of the Privacy policy.

5. Managing cookies in your browser

You can view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can also manage other data saved by websites there. Blocking cookies does not prevent you from using the Zi de Zi website.

6. If we add optional technologies

If we add optional technologies requiring consent, we will ask for it before activating them. We will update this page and the Privacy policy to describe those technologies and the data processing.
